We know that we must give students assessments every year. Some of which are highly publicized and others only we and our students see. What do we need to measure? The list above is from a post on Leader Talk. We have talked about essential skills many times and yet most of the assessments we give from year to year remain the same. Have we changed what we are measuring in our classrooms based on those skills that students need to have to be able to work outside of the high school world?
